About us · Meet Bob Rairden

Quality over quantity.
One piece at a time.

Bob started carving at 15 with his uncle. That early love of turning wood into something with character grew into Fatbobs Wood Co.

Today, our faith-based, veteran-owned shop in Sevierville creates carvings, signs, furniture, and custom features for homes, cabins, and businesses. The purpose stays personal: make something we’re proud to put our name on, and something you’re proud to bring home.

We care about the expression in a bear’s face, the feel of a finished edge, and how a piece belongs in its surroundings. Those details deserve time and attention.

Every Fatbobs piece comes with one free repair when brought to our shop. All on-site repairs are subject to a charge.
