First and foremost
Jesus Christ is our
Lord and Savior.
We give Him the glory for the gifts, opportunities, and people that make Fatbobs Wood Co possible. Our faith is the foundation of our work and how we serve others.
Faith-based. Veteran-owned. Built by hand.
It startedwith a carving.
Bob started carving at 15 with his uncle. A love for turning a piece of wood into something with personality grew into Fatbobs Wood Co.

Changing the world,
one piece at a time.
That is the line on our logo, and the spirit behind the work. Fatbobs is a faith-based, veteran-owned business in the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee.
The work ranges from a bear for somebody’s porch to a cabin sign, a piece of rustic furniture, or a larger sculpture made for a business. Each starts with the same question: what will make this piece belong to the person and place it is made for?
Visit the gallery to see the grain, texture, scale, and finishing up close. Or start with the albums: finished pieces, installations, and photographs from the shop show how much can come from an idea and a good piece of wood.

Quality over quantity.
Every piece matters.
The expression in a carved face. The texture that invites a closer look. The shape of an edge and the way the finish brings out the wood. We give those details the attention they deserve.
Whether we are making a porch bear, a cabin sign, or a feature for a business, the goal is work we are proud to put our name on. We begin with the person, the place, and the idea, then work through the design and materials together.
That care continues after a piece goes home. Under our Repair Your Bear guarantee, every Fatbobs piece comes with one free repair when brought to our shop. All on-site repairs are subject to a charge.
